木下清隆 プロフィール

 

1967年 長野県飯田市で生まれ、高校卒業後上京。

東京で開業。現在は兵庫県小野市在住。

 

子供のころから、人間関係やしがらみが疎わしく、人と喋ることが苦手でした。

高校時代になんとなく一眼レフカメラを購入。当時は何を撮っていいかわからず、

それでもカメラを持って一人でいることが居心地よかった。

 

東京では人に干渉されることもなく、きままに自分中心の生活で、いつも一人でいた気がします。スタジオマンから勉強し、写真家荒谷良一氏に師事。フリーとなってからは、時間ができるとカメラを手にふらりと旅に出るライフスタイルから、気がつくと、旅雑誌の仕事が増えていました。その仕事は広告と違い、ひとりで自由に撮影することが多く、自分の世界に入り、撮り始めたら際限なく撮り続けていました。その場、時々の最良の瞬間を押さえたいというこだわりがあったのです。

 

各地を撮影しているうちに、地方に住みながら、東京の仕事をしたいと思うようになりました。縁あって、兵庫県に移ることになることになりました。住んだことのない関西、兵庫県にとまどいはあったものの、関西担当という立場で東京の仕事をスタートさせました。

 

その後、関西や地元の交流会などに積極的に参加するにつれ、人前で喋ることが増えていきました。すると、東京時代にはなかった人との輪を築くことができ、コミュニケーションの大切さを学びました。

 

“人とのつながりを大切にし、その空間をカメラに収めていきたい”

 

それが今の仕事のモチーフとなっています。

Profile

 

Born  in Iida-shi ,Naganoin  in 1967. Moved to TOKYO in  1987and worked there for 20 years. Living in Miki-shi ,Hyogo since 2007 .

I had been uncomfortable being in company , and disliked to talk . I bought a　single-lens reflex camera when I was a high school boy.Even thought, I didn't know what to take, I could make myself comfortable to hold it.

In TOKYO days, I ,now find out,kept myself alone from other people, lived in my own style.

I started my career as a studio boy,and had studied under Mr. Ryouichi ARATANI.

I became a photographer of  travel magazines since I like to travel with my cameras in my free time.

To work at a travel magazine is different from working at an ad firm. I didn't have to be interfered, could work in my style. I was only eager for taking the best moment at the time and the place.　Ｉ　ｎｏｗ　ｃａｌｌ　ｍｙｓｅｌｆ　ａ　ｊｏｕｒｎｅｙ　ｐｈｏｔｏｇｒａｐｈｅｒ．

Taking pictures in the countryside, I became to think to live in the country with working at the firm in TOKYO.

I ended up to live in  Hyogo. Though, I　felt anxiety about living  in Hyogo, KANSAI which was totally new to me, I stated my career as a photographer in charge of KANSAI. I pushed myself to business  clubs of a community and KANSAI .There, I have made a good relationship with many people which I didn't have in TOKYO days.

I , now, understand importance of communication.

"Care for the harmony and shot the moment !" is my theme of my work.
